From 29/01 to 06/02:
the international festival of the Guadeloupean cinema, FEMI, on 2010 presents its shorts and full-length films, followed by meetings-debates.

In February:
from 13 to 16/02, the carnival reach its peak time, before the night-parade and the incineration of " Vaval " king of the Carnival .

Mars
From the 25 to 28/03, World championship of Rally Jet (12èmeKARUJET) in Petit Bourg.

April:
From 3 to 11/04, Trek race (11éme GUADARUN) 5 islands, 5 stages.
It is also the crab's ceremony in Morne à l'eau.

May
numerous demonstrations for the remembrance of the abolition of slavery.

June:
in June 5th, 9ème VOLCANO TRAIL, Big international raid around the volcano, la Souffriere.

June 21st: music festival

July:
Festival of Guadeloupe (gastronomy, music, dances, traditional parties and annual demonstration.

August:
from 6 till 15th , Guadeloupe cycle race tour

On August 8th, it is the celebration of the women cooks, to honor their holy Saint, ST . LAURENT. They carry baskets of food in the cathedral, then march down the streets of Pointe-à-Pitre, ending the day with a banquet singing and dancing.

September:

the Triathlon (with the association ZOUTI) swimming, biking, running for all ages.

October:

November:
